Content Marketing

I have created successful online content marketing strategies for a number of different businesses and publications.  I have been a contributor to The Huffington Post since 2009.  Here are a few examples of my content marketing work:


CafeMom is one of the top sites for mothers on the web.  I was hired to create a content marketing strategy for a new section of the publication that focused on entertainment news about mothers. The new section for the publication was called CafeMom Entertainment Buzz.

The new section became the second strongest page on the entire cafemom.com domain, according to SEOmoz.org, in just six months.  In the first two months of my job at CafeMom:

  • Website traffic grew 45%
  • Page Views grew 43%


Gloss Publishing

GLOSS was launched in 2009.  I was hired develop a content marketing strategy and oversee the execution of this strategy for the publication.   In addition, I supervised several writers for GLOSS, and wrote content for the start-up publication.

With no advertising, support, Gloss Publishing attracted national media partners as well as angel investors—due to the dramatic rise in traffic for the publication in a short period of time.  Within 6 months of creating the new content marketing strategy, website traffic grew to 500,000 unique visitors per month.


Babble was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2011. I created celebrity and parenting content for Babble for two years, based on a unique and successful digital content strategy.

I worked for Babble’s Andrea Zimmerman, the Director of Blogs and Social Media. Here is what Andrea said about my work:

Recognized by International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in 2012 with the Bronze Quill award.   I co-created and helped execute a content strategy that increased traffic for tech company Spiral16 that doubled page views and visitors to the website. Leads for the company increased 50% during this time.
