Online Content Development
I have developed content for many popular brands including CafeMom, Disney’s Family.com and most recently for GLOSS, a new lifestyle brand for women launched by Lolita Carrico.
I use my media background to develop the right digital strategy for online content. Like everything else, it comes down to research and trends. After determining a targeted content strategy for clients, I work with my clients to develop content that drives traffic! Here are some recent examples of my work with online content:
CafeMom
CafeMom has over 7 million visitors per month and is one of the top sites for women on the web.
My work for CafeMom resulted in the delivery of the second strongest page on the entire cafemom.com domain, according to SEOmoz.org, one of the most respected SEO resources on the web.
Working as the editor of the entertainment blog on CafeMom, I took the blog from zero readers to the second strongest URL on the CafeMom domain—-in just 6 months.

GLOSS Publishing
Since July 2009, I’ve been part of an exciting team, launching new online brand for women, GLOSS.
GLOSS (myGLOSS.com) was founded by Lolita Carrico, one of the online pioneers in developing media properties for women. Since the August 2009 launch, GLOSS has attracted hundreds of thousands of readers and over 52,000 subscribers to the daily newsletter.
GLOSS hired me to act as editorial director for GLOSS. I am also working with Lolita Carrico on developing the digital marketing strategy for the company. Here are some of the stats for GLOSS:
- September 2009: 125,000+ unique visitors
- October 2009: 150,000+ unique visitors
- November 2009: 175,000+ unique visitors
- December 2009: 189,000+ unique visitors
- January 2010: 235,000+ unique visitors
- February 2010: 250,000+ uniques
myGLOSS holds an Alexa rank of #11,602 in the US, which is significant for a new brand.
